Oversize Load Banners Ontario supplies the fixed-wording yellow banner needed for a planned move after you have confirmed the route, permit conditions and required sign. The current product photos show a 6 ft x 18 in weather-resistant vinyl banner with black wording and reinforced grommets.
Choose the exact live banner package
- OVERSIZE LOAD Banner (Single) - $119.99 CAD
- WIDE LOAD Banner (Single) - $119.99 CAD
- OVERSIZE LOAD — Front + Rear - $194.99 CAD
- WIDE LOAD — Front + Rear - $194.99 CAD
The single option supplies one banner. The front-and-rear option supplies two banners with the selected wording. No custom wording, warning flags, D sign, permit or mounting hardware is named in these four live variants.
Ontario's current worded-sign requirement
The Ontario Ministry of Transportation guide describes a sign bearing OVERSIZE LOAD in black letters at least 200 mm high, with lines forming the letters at least 30 mm wide, on a yellow background. The sign must be visible from at least 150 m.
The guide calls for the permitted sign in a clearly visible position on the front of the vehicle and the rear of the load. It must not obstruct lights or other safety devices and must be removed or covered when it is not required.
Review Ontario's current oversize/overweight vehicle and load guide.
OVERSIZE LOAD and WIDE LOAD are not interchangeable
Ontario's current provincial guide identifies OVERSIZE LOAD or the illustrated D sign for the move described there. It does not identify generic WIDE LOAD wording as an automatic substitute. Choose a WIDE LOAD variant only when the governing jurisdiction or your permit conditions specifically call for that wording.
Night moves require a separate check
The current MTO guide's night-move conditions call for the specified retro-reflective D sign. This listing exposes four worded banner variants; it does not expose a D-sign or reflective-finish option. Confirm day or night use against the current permit conditions before ordering.
Flags, permits and municipal roads are separate
The MTO guide separately describes bright red or orange warning flags of at least 40 cm square at specified vehicle or load extremities. Flags are not named in the live banner variants.
A banner is not an oversize/overweight permit. Ontario states that provincial permits apply to King's highways. Municipal roads may require additional permits or permission directly from the municipality.

Where O. Reg. 413/05 fits
O. Reg. 413/05 governs vehicle weights and dimensions. This page does not use it as the source for banner wording, letter geometry, visibility or night-move sign requirements; those facts are tied to current MTO permit guidance.
Confirm these five points before checkout
- Confirm the complete route and every provincial or municipal permit condition.
- Confirm whether the move calls for OVERSIZE LOAD wording, a D sign or another jurisdiction-specific sign.
- Confirm day or night use and any retro-reflective sign condition.
- Measure a clear 6 ft x 18 in mounting area that will not block lights or safety devices.
- Choose one banner or the front-and-rear pair, and arrange required flags and other move equipment separately.
