Important Ontario boundary

Ontario requires the applicable CVOR certificate or copy to be carried in the vehicle. The reviewed Ontario sources do not create a universal exterior CVOR-number, character-height, colour or door-placement rule. Number-only decals are optional fleet identification and do not replace owner-name lettering that may apply separately. Verify the number and your vehicle-specific obligations before ordering.

Material choice

Standard solid colour is the everyday black-or-white cut-vinyl path. Premium conformable solid colour is for more demanding vehicle contours. Reflective white and reflective black are distinct materials; reflective black has a specialty daytime appearance, so confirm contrast against the vehicle colour during proof review.

Proof and production

The live proof uses the buyer-supplied number, selected material and character height. Production remains bound to that proof, the selected matched-pair count and the saved vehicle-panel details.

Size and panel-fit guide

Measure the clean, usable door area before choosing a character height. The finished width changes with the number of characters, so a 6 inch option needs more horizontal room than the same reference at 2 or 3 inches. Enter the available panel width and height in the order form. The live proof shows the selected height and checks the supplied number against that space. These sizes are production choices, not a statement of a universal Ontario legal minimum.

Installation guide

1. Confirm the proof, material, colour, pair count and number before production.
2. Wash the application area and remove wax, grease and loose contamination. Let the smooth panel dry completely.
3. Position the premasked decal with removable tape and check alignment from normal viewing distance.
4. Apply firm, overlapping strokes with a felt-edge applicator, then remove the premask slowly while watching the lettering.
5. Repeat on the opposite door and compare both sides before the vehicle returns to service.

Do not apply over failing paint, rust, heavy texture or an unconfirmed repair coating. Follow the material and vehicle-finish instructions supplied with the order when they are more specific.

Frequently asked questions

Does this kit include the vehicle owner name?

No. It reproduces only the buyer-supplied CVOR reference. Choose the owner-name product separately when that lettering is needed.

Do you issue or verify CVOR numbers?

No. We print the exact customer-approved reference. The buyer remains responsible for checking the number and the vehicle-specific requirements.

Is reflective black the same as solid black?

No. Reflective black is a specialty material with a different daytime and illuminated appearance. Confirm vehicle colour and contrast during proof review.

Can one order cover a fleet?

Yes. Select five, ten or twenty-five matched pairs and use one confirmed reference for that product line. Contact us before ordering if different vehicles require different references.
