Fleets add CVOR-reference door lettering by choice for professional identification; US-bound carriers must display their USDOT number on both sides under FMCSA 49 CFR 390.21 in letters not less than 50mm (2") high. Fines: $3,000–$50,000 per truck. Out-of-service orders on the spot.
