Matched commercial truck door lettering pairs for Ontario owner names, fleet unit numbers, optional CVOR references and customer-supplied USDOT markings. Select the kit type, vehicle type and material from 70 live combinations. Every order includes one driver-side and one passenger-side set, a basic application kit and a production proof.
Choose the exact truck lettering kit
- Company Name Only: the exact owner or business name for both doors.
- Company Name + Unit Number: owner or business name plus one fleet unit ID.
- Company Name + CVOR Reference: owner or business name plus an optional customer-supplied CVOR reference.
- Company Name + CVOR Reference + Unit Number: the complete optional fleet-reference layout.
- USDOT Cross-Border Kit: customer-supplied current legal or trade name and USDOT number for an in-scope US carrier marking.
Included dimensions by vehicle
- Pickup / Service Truck: matched lettering up to 24 inches wide x 12 inches high per door.
- Van: matched lettering up to 30 inches wide x 15 inches high per door.
- Straight Truck and Box Truck: matched lettering up to 30 inches wide x 15 inches high per door.
- Dump Truck, Tow Truck and Tractor: matched lettering up to 30 inches wide x 15 inches high per door.
The final lettering height stays proportional to the approved wording and the usable door measurement you submit. Measure inside handles, seams, mouldings, badges, windows and damaged areas. Larger panels, complex contours, installation, wraps and more than four matching vehicles require a separate quote or fleet route.
Ontario owner name and CVOR boundary
Ontario Highway Traffic Act section 103(1) requires every commercial motor vehicle to show the owner's name on both sides in a clearly visible position. This product supplies a matched two-side set, but the buyer must confirm the owner name, vehicle class, placement and contrast that apply to the vehicle.
Ontario's CVOR guidance separately requires the applicable certificate or copy to be carried in each in-scope vehicle. The reviewed general provisions do not state a blanket requirement to print the CVOR number on the exterior. The CVOR options here are optional customer-supplied fleet references, not a registration, renewal, validation or certification service.
USDOT cross-border marking boundary
For a self-propelled commercial motor vehicle subject to 49 CFR 390.21, the marking includes the operating carrier's legal or single trade name and the FMCSA-issued number preceded by USDOT. The marking appears on both sides, contrasts sharply with the background and remains legible in daylight from 50 feet while stationary.
Enter the exact current carrier name and USDOT number. We reproduce the supplied text and provide a proof; we do not issue or validate carrier authority.
Standard or reflective material
Choose Standard Outdoor Vinyl for regular business and fleet identification. Choose Reflective Upgrade when added low-light visibility is useful. The reviewed Ontario owner-name rule does not prescribe reflective material, and no material choice by itself certifies legal compliance.
Complete the measured intake
- Select the kit type, vehicle type and material buttons.
- Enter the exact owner, business or carrier name and only the identifiers required by the selected kit.
- Enter the vehicle year, make, model, truck colour and lettering colour.
- Measure the flat usable width and height on both doors.
- Confirm the included maximum size fits and add the proof contact email.
- Upload an optional straight-on door photo and add production notes.
The paid order carries the selected variant and intake into one production proof. Proof approval confirms supplied text, layout, colour and measured fit; it does not determine which laws apply to a particular operation.
