Blank synthetic adhesive label stock sold in two exact roll formats. Choose either the 4 inch wide by 250 ft roll or the 8 inch wide by 500 ft roll. These are unprinted rolls for customers who already have a suitable print and finishing process.

Choose the complete roll format

  • 4 inch wide / 250 ft roll: $149.00 CAD per roll.
  • 8 inch wide / 500 ft roll: $489.00 CAD per roll.

Width and length are paired offers, not interchangeable axes. Use the separate Number of rolls control when ordering more than one complete roll.

What is included

  • One blank, unprinted roll in the selected width and length.
  • Synthetic adhesive label stock for customer printing, converting and application.
  • No custom artwork, printing, hazard symbols, variable data or finished labels.

BS 5609 search boundary

Customers often search for BS 5609 label stock when planning labels for marine transport. The current standard is BS 5609:2024. This listing does not claim that either roll is certified, approved or tested to BS 5609. No Section 2 report for the exact blank stock and no Section 3 report for a finished print construction have been supplied for this listing.

A finished label system can depend on the facestock, adhesive, liner, ink or ribbon, printer settings, overlaminate, die cutting, application surface and service conditions. Obtain the technical evidence required for your project and test the complete production construction before regulated use.

Canadian dangerous-goods boundary

Transport Canada's Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations govern the finished dangerous-goods safety mark, not an unprinted roll by itself. Section 4.6 requires applicable marks to remain visible and legible, use the required colours and be made from durable, weather-resistant material suitable for the exposure. Section 4.7 normally sets 100 mm sides for labels and 250 mm sides for placards, subject to the stated exceptions. Roll width is not the finished legal mark size.

Section 4.2 also prohibits misleading safety marks. The buyer or consignor must determine the correct classification, mark, dimensions, colour, content, placement and route-specific requirements. For packaged dangerous goods carried by sea, confirm the current IMDG Code and any applicable Canadian provisions before production.

Before you print

  1. Confirm that the selected roll width fits the finished label layout and converting equipment.
  2. Obtain exact-stock and complete print-system evidence for every performance claim your application requires.
  3. Test print quality, adhesion and durability on the actual container surface and under expected exposure.
  4. Have the final dangerous-goods mark reviewed by the responsible qualified person before use.
