Number equipment, trailers, bins and racks with 60 loose vinyl digits: six of every number from 0 to 9, in the height, style and finish you choose.
What is in the kit
Each kit has six of every number, 0 to 9 (60 numbers), cut from solid vinyl and weeded, so only the characters come off the backing. Pick the lettering style, the letter height and the finish, and that is exactly what is cut.
Choose your kit
Choose the lettering style, character height and finish from the available options. The displayed price updates for your selected kit. Height follows the capital-letter measurement; character widths vary by style.
Finishes
Standard finishes: gloss black, gloss white, matte black, matte white. Reflective colours: white, black, red, turquoise, gold, silver, yellow, green, blue, orange, which shine back brightly in headlights at night. Holographic shifts colour as you move.

Questions
How many units can I number with one kit?
One unit number on both sides: six of every number lets a digit appear up to three times, so any three-digit number and 999 of every 1,000 four-digit numbers fit on both sides. Or several short numbers on one side each. Count the digits needed for all of your IDs. Each kit includes six of each digit; add more kits if you need more.
Is this the same as the lettering required on a commercial truck?
This kit contains digits only for your own unit IDs. Letters and required carrier markings are separate products. For guidance on carrier markings, see CVOR guidance and USDOT guidance at Compliance Lettering.
Do reflective numbers help at night?
Yes. Reflective vinyl shines back brightly when headlights or a flashlight hit it, which helps on trailers and equipment parked or moving in the dark.
How tall is each letter or number?
The size you choose is the height of a capital letter, the way sign shops measure it. Widths vary by style; a wide style takes more room than a condensed one.
What surfaces does it stick to?
Smooth, clean, dry surfaces: painted metal, aluminium, glass, fibreglass, smooth plastic and painted wood. It will not hold well on rough brick, stucco, fabric or textured plastic.
How do I put it on straight?
Clean the surface with rubbing alcohol and let it dry. Run a strip of masking tape as a straight line, peel each character from its backing and press it on along the tape, then rub it down firmly and remove the tape.
Can I apply it in the cold?
Apply to a clean, dry surface in a warm, dry space. Do not apply over frost, moisture, wax or grease. Follow the supplied instructions for your selected material.
What is the difference between gloss, matte, reflective and holographic?
Gloss is shiny and bold, matte has no glare, reflective vinyl shines back brightly when headlights or a flashlight hit it at night, and holographic shifts colour as you move.
Can I get a letter or number I need more of?
Add a second kit to your cart, or order the exact wording you need, already spaced out, as custom vinyl lettering.
Can I remove it later?
Yes. Warm it with a hair dryer and peel it slowly. Any leftover adhesive comes off with rubbing alcohol.
How much is shipping?
Shipping and any applicable taxes are calculated at checkout for your delivery address.
Numbering a truck or trailer fleet?
For vehicle unit IDs, use the TruckLettering fleet-number kit and fit checker. It helps compare your planned numbers with the digits in a kit.
