Ontario Truck Owner-Name Door Lettering | Optional CVOR

Owner-name door lettering for Ontario commercial vehicles, with optional CVOR and fleet reference details. Every pair contains two matching lettering sets, one for each vehicle side. Choose the letter height, finish and number of vehicle pairs, then enter the exact wording for the proof.

What Ontario requires

Ontario's Highway Traffic Act and Ontario Regulation 424/97 require a commercial motor vehicle's operator name to be shown on both sides. A CVOR certificate (or true copy) must be carried in the vehicle and produced on request; Ontario does not require the CVOR number itself to be displayed on the exterior. This product treats the owner name as the primary marking. Add a CVOR number only when you want it shown as optional fleet reference information.

Choose the right lettering

• 2 inch / 50 mm: compact lettering for tight panels where the full owner name remains clearly visible.
• 3 inch / 75 mm: the balanced, most-popular choice for many commercial truck doors.
• 4 inch / 100 mm: larger lettering for wide doors or body panels with enough usable space.
• Standard White: a clean daytime finish for dark-coloured vehicle doors.
• Standard Black: solid black lettering for light-coloured or white vehicle doors, where white lettering would not be visible.
• Reflective White: added low-light visibility for dark-coloured vehicle doors.
• Reflective White with Black Outline: reflective lettering with a dark edge for added definition on medium-toned vehicles.

One pair covers one vehicle. Five-pair and ten-pair fleet packs provide matching two-side identification for multiple vehicles.

Information needed for the proof

1. Enter the exact vehicle owner name that should appear on both sides.
2. Add the CVOR number, unit number, city or terminal only when you want those optional details printed.
3. Provide the vehicle or door colour so the selected finish can be checked for contrast.
4. Review and approve the proof before production.

This is a custom lettering product. It does not issue or renew a CVOR certificate, confirm whether a vehicle is exempt, or replace documents that must be carried in the vehicle.
