📦 What's Included
The decal on your truck tailgate is still there two winters from now. Still on the cooler lid after a week at the lake. That's the job — and it's why the Lantern & Leaf outdoor vinyl decal is built from cast vinyl, not the calendered stock that ships cheap and lifts faster.
What You Get
One die-cut cast vinyl decal, cut and shipped from Canada. Transfer tape is included — no additional supplies needed before application.
- Cast vinyl construction, made from premium cast vinyl, manufacturer-rated up to 7 years for UV stability — built to resist fading, yellowing, cracking, and edge lifting through Canadian sun exposure
- Waterproof adhesive designed to hold through repeated freeze-thaw cycles — suited for cooler lids, fibreglass canoe hulls, powder-coated truck panels, and cabin window glass
- Die-cut silhouette — no white carrier film visible after application; colour runs the full thickness of the material, not a surface coating that scratches to white
- Transfer tape included; wet or dry application works on glass, hard plastic, aluminium, powder coat, and fibreglass
- Made in Canada — cut in Canada, not a drop-ship service
How It Works
Clean the surface. Position the decal. Squeegee from centre outward. Peel the transfer tape. The cast vinyl conforms to mild surface curves without lifting at the edges. Allow 24–72 hours cure time before the surface sees full submersion or repeated freeze-thaw exposure.
- Wet application recommended for contoured or powder-coated surfaces — reduces stress on the adhesive during initial placement
- Listing dimensions are the cut dimensions — the shape and size shown is the shape and size that arrives; no background film to trim or account for
- Colour printed through the full material thickness — scratches don't expose a white substrate the way surface-printed decals do
Why It Works
Calendered vinyl — the stock used in most budget imports — is manufactured under tension. That internal stress is stable at room temperature. Under Canadian freeze-thaw cycling, it works itself out as lifted edges and cracked colour. Cast vinyl is manufactured without that tension, which is why it's the material specification for long-term outdoor signage and vehicle wraps. That's what this decal is made from.
- Made from premium cast vinyl, manufacturer-rated up to 7 years for UV stability — designed to hold colour and adhesion through direct sunlight — built into the material, not applied as a surface laminate with a visible edge
- Adhesive suited for outdoor vinyl decal Canada conditions — cooler lids, fibreglass hulls, powder coat, glass — through wet-cold cycling that separates cast from calendered stock
- Die-cut with no laminate border visible after application — the cut runs full material width with no overlaminate film to catch a fingernail
- The price reflects cast vinyl material grade and Canadian production — not a margin built on cheaper substrate with a shorter service life
Add the Lantern & Leaf Vinyl Decal to your cart — cut in Ontario, shipped with transfer tape, and built from the material grade designed to outlast the seasons you put it through.

"Best quality stickers we've ever ordered. The 3M vinyl is noticeably better than what we were getting from online printers."
